Previous efforts to end the suffering of the Kathmandu Valley’s 30,000 stray dogs have been unable to solve this growing problem, due to a lack of resources and funding. That’s why Nepal Street Animal Rescue is turning to the animal lovers of the world to help us raise the money needed to build a world-class animal care and adoption center – and fund its operation for the first three years.

To be located on a spacious 2-acre site close to Kathmandu – within sight of the majestic Himalayan mountains – the facility will include:

• Off-street admission area
• Examination and surgical rooms
• Post-op recovery areas
• Indoor/outdoor kennels
• On-site housing for staff and international
volunteers
• Conference rooms for adoption workshops
and volunteer training
• A fully-enclosed outdoor area where
dogs can safely play and be socialized
• Rescue vehicles for transporting dogs
